Terms of Use
The Devi Trust Foundation staff, contractors, practicum students and volunteers shall:

Taking active steps to ensure that the participants are safe.

Reporting all incidents of suspected abuse or neglect to the proper agencies.

Work with other staff and participants to ensure that the physical and emotional safety of everyone who accesses a service.

Work from the belief that all people are capable of positive change.

Respect the intrinsic dignity and worth of persons served.

Provide service without prejudice in regard for ethnic origin, status, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or beliefs.

Respect and promote the human, legal and civil rights of persons served and seek to ensure that they obtain all services to which they are entitled.

All people who access The Devi Trust Foundations' services shall be made aware of their rights.

Staff are trained on the fact that the staff/participant relationship is a power imbalance and that it carries a special responsibility.

Staff will not exploit that relationship for private advantage or personal gain.

Staff will seek to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills.

The Devi Trust Foundation Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube
We encourage you to share your comments, but expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discussion. As a member of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube we also follow their published policies and procedures.
The Devi Trust Foundation’s social media accounts are intended to provide a place for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube users to learn more about the work that The Devi Trust Foundation does and to help The Devi Trust Foundation engage with their audience. All comments, visuals, videos and other types of material posted by social media users on these sites do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the The Devi Trust Foundation employees, Board Members, contractors, volunteers or affiliates.

To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include personal contact information such as phone numbers or email addresses when commenting. We do expect that users will not post negative or inappropriate materials.
The Devi Trust Foundation reserves the right to delete or remove any submissions that fall into any of the following categories:

solicit funding for donation to foundations, charities, or any other organization or individual

are posted without the necessary rights, licenses and consents

encourage conduct that may or would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability, or that otherwise violates any local, provincial, national or international law or regulation anywhere in the world

contain long embedded URLs

contain excessive links or contain code
-
are contrary to the principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
Consistent violation of the above will result in being banned from posting on the The Devi Trust Foundation social media accounts.
