JEFFREY JAKOBSEN
Jeffrey Jakobsen is no stranger to community service. Since 2002 he has been progressively involved in the CNIB Eye Appeal, and serves as the Chairman of the event which is the largest third party fundraiser for the CNIB in Canada.
Jeffrey's other community service includes chairing the Paul Kwari Memorial Golf Tournament for the Heart & Stroke Foundation; Champion of the back to school back pack program of the Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Vancouver Island; is an ongoing contributor and advisor to the Power to Be; and is a Knight of the Sovereign Order of St. John.
Jeffrey has been employed in the financial services sector for almost 30 years, starting at the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1988 at the age of 16. He is currently a Vice President, Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor with TD Waterhouse. He and his team manage investment portfolios for corporations, business owners, executives and other sophisticated investors.
Jeffrey is the dedicated father of two boys, Jonas and Jasper with whom he shares his passion for skiing and the great outdoors.
